Our next speaker will be leading our Networking activity on April 27th. We had the pleasure of meeting Melody in person earlier this week, and we knew she would be the perfect person to help others create their elevator pitch. Melody Land is the Founder & Principal Consultant of Bluemind Lifestyle Consulting & Collaborative.
Melody really likes people.
In fact, people are her life work. Her purpose. Her passion.
If she can help people, she’s happy. And she’s pretty happy, ‘cause she’s pretty good at it.
Melody is a curious blend of loving, crunchy-granola, zen, shy, creative, intuitive goofball mixed with professional, direct, strong-willed, knowledgeable, and sophisticated mover-and-shaker.
When people ask her what she actually does, she finds it hard to put into words. Coach, Consultant, Counsellor, Event Planner, Program Developer, Researcher, Writer, Speaker, Employment Specialist, are all words that have been used to describe her. In particular, Melody is really good at helping people who feel like a hot mess. Things like grief and loss, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, and anxiety are particular areas she can help in. She’s been super successful at helping people figure out what they want to do with their lives – discover what their dream job (or lifestyle) is, then find it. She’s also a first-rate planner because she’s a meaning-maker. You can be sure your program, workshop, or retreat is going to be an intentional, focused, and strategic event.
Bluemind Lifestyle Consulting & Collaborative is Melody’s brainchild. It’s a space where you can learn to create a life you don’t need a vacation from. Her zen side loves to provide a place where her clients, colleagues, and collaborators can find their centre. Her professional side thinks it’s an elegant space where you can reach your peak performance. Overall, she is confident that you won’t find more supportive or comfortable service providers or co-working space around.
To put it simply, Melody helps people (and organizations, ‘cause really that is just a group of people) figure out where they’ve been, where they are now, and where they’re going.
Then she helps them get there.
